My Story
I am not your typical handyman. I do this work because I love it, not because I have to.
I spent 28 years as a telecommunications development engineer working on projects such as voicemail, US call toll switch, most reliable computer ever built, start of the wireless industry, and many innovative industry process standards. Even have my name on patents.
Not to brag but I was good at what I did, but it came to a point where I got tired of doing things for people I never met and didn’t really have any connection with.
So, I decided to retire and set out on my own and start a business that helped people that I actually knew and could see the smile on their face as they realized their dream kitchen or bathroom or just getting a long-desired task completed that made their lives better.
I have worked with my hands for most of my life, built several kitchen cabinet sets from scratch, built many buildings and fixed things from the time I was a freshman in high school which was a long time ago!
Initially I refinished cabinets, bathtubs, sinks, tile utilizing a revolutionary system, once mastered I set out repairing appliances.
Covid hit and I couldn’t get parts, so I migrated to doing handyman work and building sheds while still doing the appliance repairs. And that is where I am at today. I love working with my hands and helping people – and a handyman business is just a perfect fit.
Now I enjoy what I do and enjoy getting to meet new friends and see the smiles on their face as they see their task completed with care and skill.
My engineering background developed a knack for attention to detail and an ability to troubleshoot and fix just about anything! I call it using old fashioned methods utilizing new tools.
